A gentleman would tie his trouser legs tight to his ankles, two ferrets would be inserted down the legs, and then his trousers would be tied at the waist. - Ferrets are called Mustela Putorius Furo in Latin. Try remembering that one in an hour’s time!
- The average ferret birth produces about six or eight kits, although sometimes it can be up to twelve! What a lot of babies!
- Ferrets can live up to 8 years and sometimes even longer! You should therefore expect them to be mischief making for many a year!
- They originate from Africa and have been a domestic animal for about two-thousand years!
- The 1200′s bought the inclusion of a ferreter into the Royal Court of England. In fact it become the fashion for high ranking clergymen to own ferrets!

- Bathing a ferret too much actually makes them smell worse! Their skin can become irritated and the oils of their fur be dried out!
