Dr. Ava Frick’s Animal Fitness Center for Pet Pain Relief

I never really thought about horse joint pain before. I have a horse Semper and never really thought about him getting sick or experiencing pain. When my beautiful pet Semper seemed to be aching, I had no clue where to begin. Looking online I found this great website about an Animal Fitness Center by Dr. Ava Frick. I discovered that all animals, including horses, can become ill in the same ways as a human. If I did not take my equine to Dr. Ava Frick so soon he might of had horse paralysis and I would have never forgiven myself.Animal Pain Relief

After a horse is over 15 years old Dr. Ava Frick told me that it is common for them to get equine arthritis. Just like us, their tendons can wear down and ache in cold weather. I got Semper since I was 14, so it is only natural for my beloved horse to experience pain, tenderness, stiffness and swelling in the joints. I had not noticed that he was in so much pain and had been suffering for quite some time already. I ride him every day around our farm and was even putting him through hours of practice.

Equine joint pain is usually treated with medications and drugs. I do know that to much medication and drugs can lead to organ failure and problems for my horse. I really wanted to make sure Semper’s care was as natural and holistic as possible. So it was great that Dr. Ava Frick supports alternative therapy to medications for treatment. Another thing I liked about Animal Fitness Center is their holistic approach to easing discomfort and pain of animals. Not only do they specialize in relieving pain through electronic devices but they also concentrate on the proper nutrition needed for a fast recovery. I was truly relieved to see how my horse was cared for during his stay at the Animal Fitness Center.

One of the things that I really appreciated about Dr. Ava Frick is the chiropractic service she did for my Semper. This type of treatment is aimed at targeting the core of the problem and not merely the symptoms. Even though medicine can relieve the horse joint pain that Semper felt, they usually don’t even treat the actual problem just the symptoms. Semper received massage therapy and PST, which is Pulsed Signal Therapy, and is a non invasive type of pain management that helps with the function of the problem areas. With in a few weeks of care at Ava Frick’s Animal Fitness Center, Semper showed great improvement.Animal Chiropractic
